Welcome to Tilted Kilt Border Terriers. I am Casey DePriest and have been involved in many facets of purebred dogs for more than 30 years. I have been owned and loved by large and giant breeds until recent years. While looking to downsize from Newfoundlands, yet still retain the versatility, gentle nature and “Big Dog” attitude, I discovered and became smitten with the Border Terrier. They are intelligent, loyal and affectionate. They are magnificent companions, especially to children. I enjoy their sense of humor, playfulness and versatility.

We are a small family owned hobby kennel. We make our home in The Dalles Oregon, just 85 miles east of Portland Oregon in the semi-arid climate of north central Oregon. The Dalles is located on the banks of the mighty Columbia River at the eastern edge of the spectacular Columbia River Gorge National Scenic area.

At Tilted Kilt we believe in the versatile Border Terrier – one that is not only sound in mind and body and correct in conformation, but also capable of performing all they were originally bred to do. We strive for a well balanced dog comfortable in the show ring, performing in obedience, going to ground and navigating an agility course, and most importantly as a family companion.
